Counseling
College life at HICT can be both fun and challenging. Students need to juggle both studies and extra-curricular activities. Being at a new place and new environment can make a student feels alienated especially when it comes to handling coursework, staying away from home and living with new roommates, socializing, dealing with pressure of work and school and also being exposed to new ideas and lifestyles. All these make a student wants to talk to someone that can help him/her adapt to changes in any way possible; both mentally and emotionally. Here at Student Services Department, we have counselors whom students can easily come and talk to when they have difficulties whether it is academic or personal. All discussions are discreet and confidential to build a trusting relationship between the student and the counselors.
